As I mentioned in Part One, I'm helping my friend create a Star Wars-themed baby room. The Star Wars sheets have arrived! In the next week or so, I'll get busy cutting and sewing these into crib-sized fitted sheets using the tutorial at Sew4Home.
I've never done anything like this before, but I think it should be fairly easy.
These are nice, heavy twin-sized cotton sheets from Pottery Barn Kids. There should be plenty for two fitted sheets. I plan on using the rest to make a diaper bag!
The big surprise was an old, worn, and well-loved pillowcase! It's special because it belonged to dad when he was a child!
Because it is so threadbare, I needed to come up with a project that could be seen but not used a lot. This pillowcase can't take any more laundering! I hope to turn this into a zippered pillow for the baby's room.
