I finished the Star Wars quilt that I started last month! Because this is a baby quilt, I decided to use Great Glory III Extra Loft Polyester Batting. I like to use poly batting for a quilt that will be washed a lot. I'm not a huge fan of "puffy" quilts but thought it was great for a baby. And it is puffy (about a 1" thick) - I found it a pain to work with - the loft distorts the fabric which makes it a bit awkward to quilt. To make it easier, I decided to do some simple straight line quilting.
